Default What is this specific, creation screen dye colour, actually?

I have been trying for weeks, to get this colour;

As shown in the inset. It is the darker 'orange' selection. It shows up this colour on many armors, and in particular, the ele, male and female armor.

I have bought the 1.5 'ascalon' from KCenter, because of all ele armors, I love this one the best, but yet.. I cannot, no matter how much I have spent, seem to replicate this colour. It is driving me insane and has cost so much money, trying to find the solution through different dye combos.

It honestly looks like a cross between true gold..

orange + silver mixed with yellow + silver, see below;

But with a bit of a 'olive green' tone to it, that darkens it considerably.

Has anyone else discovered what this dye combo is? The first picture, not the second.

red/green
orange/green
purple/yellow
orange/orange/blue/

I did a orange+green+purple that seems to be the right hue, I figure it might just take black to darken it correctly, but I'm not gunna waste it for you....heh

I tried orange+green+purple. Seems like it is close to the shade but still not the dark olive with a hint o gold that the creation screen has....so I then added a black, and all that did was darken the edges of the armor =/

So... still wondering.

You can't necessarily match that color, fwiw.

Well if O/G/P didn't work it's probably cause there's too much red. Try P/G/Y or Y/B/P or Y/B/O or Y/B/O/G. I doubt you need black, that color isn't that dark.
